Teething is one of the major steps in the growth of the child. In this process, the teeth of the baby will start growing one by one. First will be the lower incisor and then so on, one by one each of them will grow simultaneously. In the initial phase, it can be quite harsh for the gentle gums of the baby. They will start showing signs of teething which the parents have to understand and try to ease off it.
The baby will start bight and drooling a lot. You can even see him biting on your necklace or your fingers whenever you hold him. Whatever comes in the hand goes straight to the mouth. This phase can be difficult for the baby as well as the parents, he cannot convey his pain caused due to irritated gums to you therefore he starts crying, and fussing over things. The tooth is pushing the gums from beneath, hurting the gentle gums. You can ease it off a little by using the teething rings. In case your baby has reached the age of four months and has started fussing suddenly, this is the time the teeth has started the growing preparation.
